Jodi has a passion for continually improving the quality of clinical research. A graduate of California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo with a B.S. degree in animal science and business, Jodi began her career in clinical research at Syntex Pharmaceuticals, where she held several roles within clinical development. She served as project manager and team leader for multi-disciplinary study teams. She later served as a global clinical project manager at Otsuka America, where she directed multiple Phase I through IV protocols focused on HIV therapies in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.

 

In 1996, Jodi partnered with clinical research veteran Inger Arum to launch ProTrials Research, Inc. Their goal was simple and straightforward: to provide clients a team of highly experienced, dedicated, and detail-oriented clinical research professionals. Together, they have grown ProTrials into a multi-million dollar, global organization. With a 90 percent repeat customer base, ProTrials maintains a reputation for excellence and was recognized by CenterWatch as one of the fastest growing specialty CROs in North America. In addition to maintaining excellence in its clinical research offerings, the company is currently growing its capabilities in data management and biometrics, while continuing to expand globally.Today, Jodi brings over 20 years of industry experience to the company’s strategic direction and ensuring client satisfaction. Along with co-founder Inger Arum, Jodi was named one of Silicon Valley’s most influential businesswomen by the Silicon Valley Business Journal. In addition to her work at ProTrials, she has contributed articles to leading industry outlets including FiercePharma and ClinPage.
